Qualia is working in partnership with the Dufferin County Cultural Response Resource Circle to organize delivering a food and supply truck to Saugeen First Nation on Friday, July 16.
Saugeen First Nation is in a state of emergency with Covid-19 highly impacting their small community.
They are asking for donations so they can deliver food and supply boxes to those in complete quarantine over the next several weeks.
Specifically, the community has requested:
– non perishable food items
– gift cards for fresh foods the First Nation can deliver to these homes as needed.
– Gift cards to Zehrs and Foodland
– baby diapers different sizes, but size 3 the most
– baby wet wipes
– baby food in jars and pouches
Qualia will be receiving ALL and ANY OF THE ABOVE DONATIONS DROPPED OFF at the following Qualia locations before Thursday, July 15 at 5pm
